The family run Scott’s Hotel is a high quality contemporary hotel right in the heart of Killarney town centre. It has spacious and comfortable B&B rooms and some two-bedroom, self catering apartments to sleep up to 5. It also has a great restaurant, three lively bars and a warm welcoming atmosphere throughout.

The rooms are a mixture of doubles and twins, and are spacious and kitted out with all modern facilities such as flat screen TV, tea and coffee makers, bath tubs and 24 hour room service.

For a small extra splurge you can go for the ‘Deluxe’ class of room which have even more space and a semi-separate lounge area with sofa and armchairs.

The self catering apartments are good value with loads of space, a fully equipped kitchen and high quality furnishings. They have two bedrooms but the large lounge area has also an extra sofa bed if required. Check out your options on the booking page here.

FACILITIES:

A highlight of Scott’s hotel is the lively bar scene within, it has three bars which get busy with locals as well as tourists and showcases some fine traditional Irish music and dancing. There is a nice courtyard area too which doubles as a live music venue in the summer, and there is an extensive pub food menu in all the bars.

The Courtyard Restaurant is a more formal affair and serves up some of the best Irish and international cuisine in Killarney. It too is also popular with locals.

There is a small business centre at the hotel with computers and printers etc. and free parking in the underground car park for all guests.

THE LOCATION:

Just a short walk from Killarney train and bus station, Scott’s is at the heart of the town with a whole host of night and day life right outside the door. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and can advise you in what to see and do around the town as well as organise tours and excursions around the lakes and mountains that surround the town, including the infamous Ring of Kerry and the enormous Killarney National Park.
